KWFinder Review

This review will cover the main benefits and features of KWFinder and show you screenshots of the most important aspects of this keyword research tool. But first, before we jump into the details of this keyword analysis software, let's take a look at what KWFinder is and what it can do for your website's SEO strategy.

What is KWFinder?

KWFinder is a keyword research tool for search engine optimization offered by Mangools. With KWFinder, you can identify relevant SEO keywords to target on your website by exploring the average monthly search volume, cost per click (CPC) price, pay per click (PPC) competition, and keyword difficulty score for ranking in SERPs.

What does KWFinder do?

KWFinder is a powerful SEO tool that simplifies keyword research by helping you come up with ideas for topics that people search for on search engines like Google. KWFinder tracks important keyword data metrics so you can analyze them and find the best search terms to use on your website.

KWFinder Pros and Cons

Listed below are the main pros and cons of KWFinder. As a user of this SEO keyword research tool, I have found these to be the most common pros and cons of the product.

Pros

- Most user-friendly keyword research tool out there.
- Great data aggregation for keyword analysis.
- Provides Keyword Difficulty (KD) score to help you find easy-to-rank keywords in SERPs.
- Multiple search options to find good keywords to target (e.g. related keywords, autocomplete, and questions).
- Fast loading time for keywords.
- Displays an overview of the top ranked URLs in the SERPs for each keyword, as well as important SEO metrics.
- One of the cheapest keyword research tools for SEO.
- Integrated with 4 other SEO tools.
- Allows you to analyze your competitors' websites to find their top ranking keywords.
- Lets you create lists to save keywords for analysis and comparison.

Cons

- No keyword gap analysis feature.
- Daily data request limits can be a problem for heavy users unless they upgrade to a more expensive plan.
- Keyword suggestions are limited to 700 results for each search.
- It does not extract all keywords from competitors' websites and some URLs are not in the database. (KWFinder is only updated a few times a year to save on data costs, which explains this situation).
- Not all suggested keywords include the keyword difficulty (KD) score by default. You must analyze the keyword to get the KD score.
- Some reports indicate that the KD scores are outdated based on user demand for the keyword; however, you can instantly get the current KD score by analyzing it.

KWFinder Features

This section of the KWFinder review will cover the main features of KWFinder that you can use for keyword research and analysis. As you'll discover below, this software has a number of high-quality features that make SEO keyword research quick and easy to do for any website, which is why I highly recommend it. You can try KWFinder for FREE here.

Keyword Research

The main feature of KWFinder that you will use most often is the "Keyword Search" feature. This field allows you to add a starting keyword to generate relevant suggestions for SEO analysis.

When you perform a search by keyword, the tool immediately displays important SEO metrics for that keyword, including:

- Trend: This feature shows you how interest in the keyword has changed over the past 12 months.

- Search Volume: This SEO metric tells you the monthly average search volume.

- CPC: This value shows the average cost per click (CPC) in Google AdWords, which indicates how competitive the keyword is for advertisers.

- PPC: This value reveals the level of competition for pay-per-click (PPC) ads in Google AdWords (the higher the numbers, the more competitors there are).

- KD: This SEO metric indicates the Keyword Difficulty (KD) score, which calculates the strength of the link profile (LPS) or top ranked URLs. KD scores below 29 correspond to very easy to target keywords, while scores of 30 and above indicate that it may be more difficult to rank a web page without a strong backlink profile.

Search by domain

Another great feature of KWFinder is the "Search by Domain" function. This feature allows you to enter a competitor's primary domain or target URL to discover the top ranking keywords for that individual website or page. This is a powerful feature that allows you to find easy-to-rank keywords that your competitors are targeting that you can also use on your website.

The only drawback here is that not every domain or URL on the Internet has been crawled by KWFinder. Mangools only updates this part of its database a few times a year. Therefore, some domains and URLs may not provide the most recent data when using this feature of KWFinder.

Choose a search location

With KWFinder, you can limit your keyword searches to a specific country by selecting it from the country drop-down list. You can choose from options such as USA, Germany, UK, Spain or anywhere in the world.

Choose a target language

You can also change the target language with KWFinder, which offers over 40 languages to choose from. Options include Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Spanish, Ukrainian, Turkish, any language, and more.

Keyword search filters

KWFinder has a powerful keyword filtering feature. This allows you to set parameters for the types of SEO keywords you want to find and analyze with the tool.

Filtering options include:

- Search volume
- Keyword difficulty score
- CPC
- PPC
- Keywords included
- Excluded keywords
- Number of words

Creating keyword lists

KWFinder allows you to easily save SEO keywords for later use, analysis or comparison. You can backup keywords in two ways:

KWFinder Review: Features, Pricing, Pros and Cons

- By clicking on the star icon next to individual keywords to save them one by one.
- By checking the box next to multiple keywords and then clicking the "Add to List" button at the bottom of the tool to save keywords en masse.

SERP preview

One of the main features of KWFinder that makes it such a powerful tool is the SERP preview feature. When you click on a keyword in KWFinder to analyze it, you get the following SEO data for the top ranked URLs so you can measure the strength of the competition:

- DA: Domain Authority is a ranking score that was developed by Moz which estimates the authority of the overall domain based on its backlinks.

- PA: Page Authority is another ranking score developed by Moz that estimates the authority of a specific page based on inbound links.

- CF: Citation Flow is a ranking score developed by Majestic that evaluates the influence of a URL based on the number of backlinks it owns.

- TF: Trust Flow is another ranking score developed by Majestic that shows the strength of the URL based on the quality of the links pointing to the page.

- Links: This is the total number of inbound links to the URL. You can hover over it to view a detailed breakdown of unique referring domains, referring IPs, and subnets.

- FB: Indicates the number of Facebook shares provided by the Facebook API.

- LPS: This is a Mangools proprietary SEO metric that estimates the strength of the link profile for the ranking URL.

- EV: This is an estimate of the number of visits per month of the URL based on its position in the SERPs.

Another interesting feature is that you can click on the "Analyze SERP" button to bring up Mangools' SERPChecker tool and get a snapshot of Google's first page to understand what the search results page looks like to the user. You can use this information to check things like meta titles, descriptions, and the impact of various SERP features.

Keyword search history

KWFinder also makes it easy to find the keywords you've searched for previously by saving them in the history section. When you click on this tab, you'll see a list of previous searches so you can revisit them without having to retype them in the search field.

Exporting keyword data

If you want to export your keyword data to keep a local backup or to import it into another keyword analysis tool, then KWFinder lets you do that too. All you have to do is check the box next to one or more keywords in the dashboard, then click the "Export" button at the bottom of the tool. You will then have the option to export the keyword data as a CSV file.

Importing keywords

If you have a list of keywords from another tool, then you can easily upload them to KWFinder using the import function. You can also use this function to manually type in a long list of keywords that you want to analyze in KWFinder without having to search for them one by one.

Just click on the "Import" button and choose the option you want for a bulk keyword upload: drag and drop, file upload, or handwriting. You can also set the location of the keyword batch if you want to focus on getting SEO data for a specific region of the world. Once your keywords have been added to the tool, click the "Process Keywords" button to have KWFinder analyze the terms.

(Note: the import feature has a maximum limit of 200 keywords per use).

KWFinder Pricing

Mangools' KWFinder has three pricing plans that can be charged in monthly installments or paid as an annual subscription to save 40% of the annual cost.

Also keep in mind that KWFinder comes with 4 other SEO tools in the Mangools SEO suite: LinkMiner, SERPWatcher, SERPChecker, and SiteProfiler.

Check out my full Mangools review to learn more about these additional tools.

Note: Prices were current at the time of writing this article on KWFinder and are subject to change at any time. You can increase, decrease, or cancel your Mangools subscription at any time at no additional cost.

In my experience, the Mangools Basic plan is suitable for most bloggers, niche website owners, and affiliate marketers who only do occasional keyword research and analysis. The Premium and Agency plans are better suited for freelancers, small to medium-sized businesses, and SEO agencies who are often heavy users of the software.

KWFinder Money Back Guarantee

Mangools offers a 48-hour refund policy for KWFinder. You can request a refund by contacting the company at info@mangools.com or through the live chat feature. I think this refund policy is fair because Mangools offers you a free trial to test the KWFinder tool for 10 full days before purchase. You can test KWFinder for FREE here using my affiliate link.

Who Is KWFinder for?

There is no doubt that KWFinder is worth it for anyone who wants an affordable SEO keyword research tool that can give them accurate data to make better digital marketing decisions to improve their website's SEO strategy.

However, KWFinder is not the ideal option for all users. The features of KWFinder would be the perfect choice for these types of people:

- Bloggers who want an easy-to-use keyword research tool without a complicated learning curve.

- Niche website owners who have a limited budget and want access to important SEO keyword data to power their websites and conduct basic competitive research.

- Affiliate marketers who want to find low-competition keywords to get faster rankings and more traffic.

- Freelancers who offer a keyword research service for SEO, but don't need the advanced features of a tool like Ahrefs or Semrush.

- Small and medium-sized businesses that need a fast and efficient keyword research tool for an in-house digital marketing team to perform SEO work.

- SEO agencies that partner with smaller clients whose budget or needs do not require an advanced keyword research tool with complex functionality.

- Anyone who does occasional keyword research for SEO and wants an inexpensive tool to get the data they need to guide their content publishing strategy.

- Anyone who also wants access to 4 other powerful SEO tools for link building, ranking tracking, competitor website analysis, and SERP analysis.
